Drought Update

San Jose Water Encourages All Customers to Conserve Water

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 23, 2021 – San Jose Water (“SJW” or “the Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJW Group (NYSE: SJW), is encouraging its 230,000 customers to begin conserving water immediately in response to the drought emergency declared by Valley Water, its water wholesaler, which provides approximately 90% of the water supply for SJW customers. All residential, business and commercial customers are asked to cut water usage by 15% from 2019 levels.

Quality can deteriorate when water is left sitting in pipes. Building owners should proactively flush water pipes before reoccupying.

San Jose, CA — June 8, 2020 — As Gov. Newsom announced a staged plan for re-opening many businesses, San Jose Water recommends that building owners and property managers flush the water pipes upon returning to any building that may have been vacant or infrequently occupied over the last several weeks.

San Jose Water Donates $250k in 2021; Receives Recognition for Community Support

San Jose Water continues its annual dedication to community giving through donations to several Bay Area organizations.

SAN JOSE, Calif., February 2, 2022 – San Jose Water (“SJW” or “the Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJW Group (NYSE: SJW), announced today that it donated $250,000 to local non-profits, community organizations, and other philanthropic entities in 2021. Monetary donations are funded by Company shareholders.
