SJWater HUB FAQs

What if I forgot my Username?

  • On the SJWaterHUB page, click Forgot Username.
  • Enter the email address associated with your profile and enter Captcha letters, Submit.
  • The Forgot Username box appears. Click OK.
  • Check email to get Username.
  • Go back to SJWaterHUB, Login with Username.

What if I forgot my Password?

  • On the SJWaterHUB page, click Forgot Password.
  • Enter the username and email address associated with your profile and enter Captcha letters, click Submit.
  • When the Forgot Password box appears, click OK.
  • Check email to reset password and click Here.
  • The Reset Password box will appear:
    • Enter the new password twice, then Submit.
  • Once the password is updated, the Reset Password box appears, click OK.
  • Go back to SJWaterHUB, then Login with new Password. 

How do I register/sign up for SJWaterHUB? 

To sign up, you’ll need your: 

  • SJW Account number
  • Last name or company name (as seen on your bill)
  • Your preferred email address
  • We recommend having your most recent bill available to reference when signing up.

Can I link multiple accounts to one profile? 

Yes. Customers with multiple accounts have the option to create a profile for each account or link accounts to a profile.

Will the accounts I have linked to my profile transfer automatically over to the new sign in page? 

Yes. When you register for the first time using your Invoice Cloud username and password, your account will automatically appear in the Account dropdown list (located in upper left of the page). 

How do I link my account to my profile? 

  • Log in to your account at SJWaterHUB.com. 
  • Click Profile icon in the bottom left corner.
  • Click Account Settings.
  • Scroll down to Add an Account.
  • Complete the form by adding:
    • Account Number
    • Last Name on Account/Company Name (as it appears on your bill)
    • Optional to add Account Nickname. Click Save.
  • View your linked accounts in the Accounts dropdown located on the top left of the page.

I am already registered in Invoice Cloud. Do I have to re-register or create a new sign in? 

Yes. All SJW customers will need to sign in to SJWaterHUB.com to access account information and pay bills. Invoice Cloud is integrated into SJWaterHUB. Current InvoiceCloud users will continue using the same username and have the option to keep or change their existing password. 

Is Invoice Cloud still the payment vendor for SJW?

Yes! Invoice Cloud is a proud partner of SJW. Paying your bill is fast, easy and secure. With the new SJWaterHUB, you will find familiar screens that provide you the same great service you have come to love. View Invoice Cloud Terms and conditions.

Invoice Cloud offers:

  • Expanded payment options including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. 
  • Ability to establish and manage auto-pay. 
  • Electronic notifications of pending and completed payments as well as past-due notifications. 
  • Paperless billing — reduce clutter!

Do I have to change my password? 

It’s good cybersecurity hygiene to change your password. 

Why should I use SJWaterHUB if I don’t have a smart meter yet?

Even if your smart meter has not yet been installed, SJWaterHUB offers: 

  • Access to your account history.
  • Past water use data to help with conservation.
  • Link to multiple accounts within your profile making it easier to pay your bills.
  • Simpler bill or autopay setup.

What features are available on SJWaterHUB if I have a smart meter? 

  • Water usage data on a daily/hourly/monthly basis.
  • Ability to select the type of alerts and how you’d like to be notified when the data indicates you may have a possible leak or are experiencing unusual water usage. 
  • Access to your account history. 
  • Additional water-related data as needed. 
  • Simpler way to pay your bill or set up autopay online. 
  • Links to multiple accounts within your profile making it easier to pay your bills.

Is there an app for SJWaterHUB? 

No, but you can “bookmark” the URL on your phone, tablet or computer. This web-based site can be found at sjwaterHUB.com. There are links from our website at sjwater.com/smartmeters and sjwater.com.

Is my auto pay still active? 

Yes. If you enrolled in autopay before the shift to SJWaterHUB, it is still active and will pay your bill based on your planned billing schedule.
