SJW’s 2025 Water Quality Report Confirms Continued Compliance and PFAS Readiness

Drinking water continues to meet state and federal health standards

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 24, 2026 – San Jose Water (“SJW” or “the Company”), a wholly owned subsidiary of H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO), announced today that it has filed its 2025 Consumer Confidence Report (also known as the annual Water Quality Report.) The Water Quality Report provides a snapshot of last year’s cumulative local water quality data, including where the company’s water comes from and how its quality compares to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California state standards.

The 2025 Annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) includes the cumulative results of more than 18,000 water quality tests for over 200 water quality parameters conducted throughout the year at state certified laboratories on 5,960 water samples collected by SJW from across our service area (roughly 94 tests a day). The water quality results in SJW’s system meeting all state and federal drinking water standards.

“The most important thing we do each and every day is provide affordable, clean, high-quality drinking water that our customers can trust,” said Tanya Moniz-Witten, President of SJW. “As a member of the Partnership for Safe Water, we remain focused on water quality, reliable service, and responsible stewardship — protecting our water sources and the environment for current and future generations.”

To address PFAS, which are now found at trace levels in water sources nationwide, SJW has been proactively monitoring for PFAS since 2019, collecting more than 16,000 samples across approximately 97 locations, including 88 groundwater wells and 9 effectively PFAS-free surface water sources in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The water delivered to SJW customers meets all regulatory standards, and SJW has now completed the design of its PFAS treatment facility at Williams Station. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2026 or early 2027 and once operational, this facility will further reduce any PFAS levels in the water supply, enhancing water quality and demonstrating the company’s ongoing investment in infrastructure for delivering reliable, high-quality drinking water.

As part of SJW’s commitment to public health and regulatory compliance, the company also completed an initial inventory of service line materials in accordance with the U.S. EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). The inventory, available at SJW's Service Line Inventory Portal, identifies the material of service lines delivering water to homes and businesses. SJW has no lead service lines in its system.

The 2025 San Jose Water CCR report includes much more information about local drinking water — where it comes from, what’s done to protect and treat it, and detailed water quality test results — and is available at sjwater.com/CCR.
