2020 Water Awareness Night

Updated:April 24, 2020

Due to COVID-19, the May 22, 2020 event has been cancelled. We will update once we have more information about a possible future date.

San Jose Water has been a proud sponsor of Water Awareness Night with the San Jose Giants for 24 years. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2020 as listed in the bill insert sent to all of our customers.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has affected our entire community. San Jose Water and Minor League Baseball are both monitoring the situation closely.

Major League Baseball announced the postponement of the start of the 2020 Championship Season in early March. The San Jose Giants are working closely with Major League Baseball to plan for the resumption of the baseball schedule, while keeping in mind that its number one priority is the safety of baseball personnel and fans.

On March 16, 2020,  the San Jose Giants announced the closing of the ballpark due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety of its fans, staff, partners and community remains its number one priority.

Plus, a shelter-in-place directive went into effect on March 16, 2020 and has been extended through May 3, 2020. These guidelines and restrictions may change over time. We will continue to monitor the situation. NO TICKETS ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED AT THIS TIME.

San Jose Water will continue to work closely with the San Jose Giants with the common goal of protecting public health. If a game can be safely held this year, we’ll let you know.
