Filings with the CPUC
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is responsible for regulating the rates, service, water quality, and operational safety of all investor-owned water utilities (water systems owned by cities, water districts and mutual water cooperatives are self-regulated).
Utility companies communicate with the CPUC and the public using advice letters and notices to seek changes to the tariff that governs the utilities rate structure. The letters and notices below represent SJW's most recent communications with the Commission. The CPUC also maintains a searchable database of advice letters.
