Employee Involvement

San Jose Water Company is proud of the commitment to the community that our employees demonstrate each day on and off the job. We encourage our employees to give back to the community through the following programs:

SJWC Employees Community Fund, Inc.

The SJWC Employees Community Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by and for the employees of San Jose Water Company. Employee contributions are distributed to other non-profit organizations in which our employees are involved. Giving guidelines for the SJWC Employee Community Fund, Inc. program are available on its website.

Matching Gifts to Local Universities

To further encourage philanthropy among employees, SJWC matches gifts made to the major universities in our service area, San Jose State University and Santa Clara University. SJWC matches employees' gifts on a dollar-for-dollar basis. Requests for a matching gift must originate with SJWC employee.
